Pictures from John Teague and Cookie Young
These are a series of picture of the sunrise taken from the balcony of
the condo here in Satellite Beach 7-1-10. Note the turtle tracks
in the last photo! It is sea turtle nesting season! Below
are a series of pictures of nesting mother turtle.

These were taken a couple of years ago on the
beach outside our condo ... a momma sea turtle was "late" getting back
to the ocean after laying her eggs. They are usually back to sea well
before sunrise. She must have gotten a late start! The next to
last photo show the nest after she was done. The last picture
shows the meandering path she took to and from her nesting site.
Usually the path is straight up to the nesting site and directly back
to the water! BTW, this is a rather young turtle based on her
size. We did get to watch one digging her nest and then depositing ...her
eggs. We took no pictures as it was a moonless night and any kind of
lights, especially a flash, is a no-no during nesting season! She was
probably twice this size. We probably watched her for at least a couple
of hours from just a few feet away. We watched quietly and she ignored
us!

John's daughter, Maggie, John
and Cookie in Pompeii with
Mt. Vesuvius in the background

Here are three photos of John's daughter, Maggie, during her
"Hunter-Jumper era"! She rode competitively from 6th grade
through high school. All are horses that she owned during that
time. The first is Hudson (show name - Doc Brown), next is Willis
(Lost and Found), and last is San Andreas. Not to brag too much,
but she became really, really good at this!

One of our favorite spots ... desert southwest!

Hey, this group
cleans up real nice, don't you think? You will have to ask
Raymond and/or Larry about the need for a "weedeater"! The last
picture is from the beach park next door to the condo.
Here is a shot
from the Florida get-together of us with our favorite band, Radio
Flyerz, that played for the event. Anytime you're in the area,
check to see where these guys are playing! The ARE worth the
trip! They play a lot from "our" era along with newer
stuff! Check out their MySpace site at http://www.myspace.com/radioflyerz
and give a listen!
